All packed up and ready to roll!

Our new trailer is all loaded and ready to accommodate our 6 girls tomorrow on our way to Houston.  We even managed to pack 18 bales of hay!  Wish us good luck and much power with the dually!  We figure we will be pulling at least 12,000 lbs including all tack, feed, 4 people, etc.

As you can imagine, a big part of the day was spent packing the trailer, pulling manes, and otherwise preparing for our almost week long absence from the farm.  Patrick is trying to get his morale up to ride 10 Championship rides on Thursday.  We have promised him his choice of restaurant for dinner on Thursday night.  He says he is going to want a big juicy steak.  We have decided also that if he comes in last in every class, it will be on the order of a flank steak!  If he does well, a 12 oz ribeye will be on the plate for him.

Our little yearling, Bon Davidoff, left for his new home in WA state today.  As you can imagine, he was pretty scared of the whole process, wondering what in the world was happening to him.  Thankfully, he is getting a great home and should be there by Thursday afternoon.

The stars for today were La Coruna and Glenda.

As promised we will blog from the show and keep you posted on our scores!! So keep watching the blog!!  We again hope to meet some of you that follow our blog while at GAIG!
