Alyssa holding down the Fort!

Patrick left today for the Heike Kemmer clinic. Of course, Farina had an injury today and has to be laid up for about a week while her cut heals. Wouldn't you know- right before the clinic. Instead, he loaded up La Coruna, took the new trailer and off he went. He is the first one to get to pull the beautiful new trailer.
Sharon is leaving early early in the morning for her AHS judging session and she will be gone until next Thursday evening. Alyssa worries that if we had an emergency, the truck and trailer are gone. Never fear- we have a contingency plan for that situation. We have an old Garner Environmental 250 Chevy pickup (could have qualified for Cash for Clunkers probably) and we have the cattle stock trailer. Believe us, it would get us to the clinic in Weatherford. Alyssa might look like the Beverly Hillbilly but hopefully it won't be necessary.
Alyssa will be busy with her riding, preparing videos, photographs, doing paperwork, and all the misc other things that have to be done during the regular week.
Romance started a little canter for the first time today from her rehab. She is doing great and we expect she will be back to full work in a matter of weeks. Alyssa is going to ride her while Sharon is gone. The good news is since she has been stall bound, her coat has turned a deep, rich black.
We will close now so we can get back to our final projects and Sharon has to pack.
